John will discuss the basic aspects of registering your copyrights, affiliating with a PRO, starting your own publishing outfit and reserving your domain names. John Gilliam is a San Marcos attorney with over 14 years of experience in State and Federal trial and appellate courts. A performing songwriter, John is particularly interested in the legal aspects of the music business.

Tom McAleer
Tom is the founder and owner of TJM Music Services, a full service booking and management company located in San Marcos, TX. He writes about the Austin Music Scene for Examiner.com, reviewing and previewing cds and shows. He is a member of the board and events planner for the Military Moms of Texas, and also runs the TJM Music Songwriter Series at venues throughout Texas. Tom is also a staff member at Bigfest. |
